Good Morning All
We (3) are planning a tour to Botswana and then the Northern part of Namibia in the June school holidays 2010. The plan is not to do the extreme 4x4'ing because my vehicle is still new. Will be towing a conquest 4x4 trailer. Anybody out there or a small group who have the same plan and would like to include us into your group. We are caravanners and are used to camping so no hangups etc. Please advise if interested, much appreciated

Hi guys, We are a family of 4 and do Namibia/Botswana tours regularly. I was born and bred in Nam and only moved to SA in 2009.
A few facts about the Caprivi and Khaudom, a, you dont always need a 4X4. b, even when keeping to the gravel and good sand roads, you could have a ball of a time. I have most of the better routes on garmin for the Khaudom( from the Caprivi down to Skilpadhek) along the Botswana border. Water feul and camp sites, also the giant boababs, dorsland trek graves and more.....My family and I used to tour with a landcruiser and trailer......since 2008 we travel light and use a Niva with the same trailer....should you require more info including the sperrgebiet, Namib coastline, Damaraland and Southern Angola, youre welcome to mail me at namdude1@yahoo.com Theuns van Zyl

We too have friends coming up in June this year. We are living in Gobabis and they plan to visit us for about 10 days so we can do a camping trip together. Do you have your trip all planned out yet? Do you need any other people to join you to the Northern Namibia section ? Would you be able to let us know your dates of this section?

We are a couple and our friends are a couple with 2 kids (aged 10 & 7). We drive Toyota 4x4's with a conqueror trailer and an Imagine trailer.
