Five years is the maximum usage limit after the tyre’s manufacturing date (the sidewall is stamped with the week and year of manufacture). In addition, be aware that ultra-violet light and heat destroy the rubber in a tyre, causing it to become brittle and crack, so storing it in the heat of a garage roof could potentially have caused damage.

 

Rather be safe and purchase new tyres.
