Very nice, I also have a 2015 Sprinter 4×4 panelvan with the 3 liter v6 diesel engine, auto box. In SA you cant really find accessories due to our small market and high import costs,  and everything you want to be done has to be custom made. Ive done quit a bit of customisation and Imagine off road  caravans did the aluminium frame and fitted there off road caravan kitchen, double bed, watertanks, battery system, two fridge drawers etc.  I had to import alloy mags via a Mercedes dealership at a high cost as I didnt like the looks of the steel rims. I am now in the process of fitting a custom made rear bumper with two spare wheel carriers and a front bumper replacement mini bull bar.

On the v6 I originally achieved about 14l/100 km, after a local free flow exhaust to be able to use high PPM diesel,  I now get 12 l/100 km, and much better performance(about 160 kw and 500 nm). I have however also replaced the 265/70/16 BF Goodrich with Hancooks, same size which could also contribute to fuel consumtion improvement. The BFs were just very noisy and its well known that they add to your fuel consumption.

The exhaust system and the air spring suspension was the best improvemnts to the handling and drivability of the Sprinter.

We have done trips to Zambia Tanganjika lake, Zimbabwe Mana Pools, Botswana pans and a lot of trips in SA mountains and National parks, camping on farm and mountain camp sites. About international trips ou of Africa I havent really thought, maybe one day….
