Zebra Camper Hire left me stranded in the Kalahari around Rakops with no back up plan after their 4×4 seized up. This after we found the 4×4 never engaged and the car was hopelessly shoddy in its general state. What am I to do? Let this guy off the hook or try to find a way for him to own up. A quick look at Tripadvisor reveals that my experience is one of many nightmares.

We came across a group of Foreigners 30kms out of Sesfontein whose vehicle rolled after a blow out. The tyres were smooth and of differing treads! They were totally  abandoned by Zebra and had to make their own way back to Windhoek!
