I have been looking everywhere for a July edition of your SA4x4 magazine.

Can you advice if it is onsale and where  – so that i can grab a copy.

I also couldn’t find one, I believe because of COVID and the ban on travel they were unable to produce a magazine. I see Leisure Wheels and Getaway have also closed.

It is with both sadness and excitement that we are sending you this mail. Sadness as we close a chapter in the life of Leisure Wheels magazine which we will no longer be producing in print, but excitement as we will continue to bring you all the content via our website and digital channels. Over the last few years printed magazines have seen a slow but steady decline in sales, and unfortunately costs have continued to increase. The COVID19 pandemic and the impact on the economy has put us in a position where we have no choice but to embrace a digital future for Leisure Wheels. We hope you will join us on this new journey.

We have asked our subscriptions management partner, Arena, to offer you the choice of converting the balance of your Leisure Wheels subscription to one of our two premier sister publications, CAR magazine or GETAWAY magazine. Please let us know by return email to feedback@arena.africa which magazine you elect to receive.

If you do not wish to convert your subscription, we will start the process of reconciling and sending out individual mails which will give you the current balance on your account. Once confirmed, the credit will be returned to you. We hope to complete this process by the end of July.

What about Go Drive and Camp and Wegry & Sleep / GO Drive & Camp? They are Media 24.

I believe they are still open, I saw their magazines on sale at my local Pick n Pay.

I flipped through it and it seems they are using a lot of the same stories that they features in the GO  & WEG magazine.

I just couldn’t bring myself to pay R85 for the magazine. that’s absurd.
