  Join the Land Rover Owners Club of Southern Africa for a day of driver education at Red Star Raceway in Delmas, Gauteng.

  R400 per vehicle, to be paid TODAY. Please use your name + Skidpan as reference.

  About the event:

  We plan to have a bit of fun in a safe and controlled environment, you can develop the skills needed to correct and control a sliding car, a situation that you may encounter on the public roads. Not only is this great fun, but more importantly a hugely worthwhile investment in your own and your passenger’s safety. The event is organised in conjunction with the 4×4 Action Group.

  In short, we set up a couple of courses around plastic cones. The skidpan will be divided in two mirror image courses on either side of the middle lane. Two vehicles then set off against the clock, one from each club. Each club member will drive both sides, after which another course is laid out, and all drivers get a second set of “runs”. Only road going 4×4’s will be allowed, and not race prepared specials. Its loads of fun. There will be results announced and prized given. Every competitor gets a sticker & a certificate.
