Just a comment on the new Mitsubishi Triton. I am the owner of a late 2017 model Triton(D/cab 4×4). On February 4th I hit a female Nyala on the front right hand side of the vehicle at a speed of approx. 100km/h that left me with damage to the value of approx. R300 000. Other than the airbags that popped and a damaged windscreen, this was mainly cosmetic damage. The shocking part is that I am still waiting for the vehicle to be returned to me, more than three months later. Most of the parts are not stocked in SA and needs to be imported. At long last all parts now arrived but for the last three days the vehicle was sitting with the local dealer where they are failing to get the new airbag ECU to communicate. Apparently the vehicle has now been transported to another dealer where they will attempt to fix the problem.
The response I received from Mitsubishi SA Customer care where I reported the poor service was disappointing, to say the least.
