    I read the Hilux vs Ranger article in the June issue and noticed that the Ranger has a service interval of 20 000 km while that of the Hilux is only 10 000 km. How is that possible seeing they are both turbo diesels?

    Good morning Jan,

    Referring to your question about the article on pages 76 & 77 of our July 2016 issue: Toyota is often very conservative with their service intervals.

    For instance, the near invincible Toyota Land Cruiser 4.2 70 series must be serviced every 5000km. Toyota do this to maintain their reputation for reliability – better sooner than later is their philosophy.
