For the last +-5000 kms when I drive in third gear at approximately 2200 revs, approximately 60kms per hour, my Rav seems to jerk as if it is trying to provide more diesel? I am not sure of the correct terminology to use but the Toyota garage says it is to do with the turbo and that there is no problem at all. What I am failing to understand is why it has only started doing this for the last approximate 5000kms. The normal speed limit in any built up area is 60kms per hour and you cannot drive faster than that, does this mean I should then drive in second gear with higher revs?

If anyone has had a similar problem how did you resolve it or what should I be checking or doing to correct it? :S

It sounds like it could have something to do with your diesel pump or injectors – maybe one of them is blocked up??? Try an injector cleaner for a while (added to your fuel tank) and have your fuel pressure checked professionally. That’s what I would do.
