Visited the Nature Reserve last weekend (End of March 2014) and really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely try to visit again.

    Hi Hein2
Please give more detail. For us less traveled. Where is it, route to get there, facilities, costs etc.
It look fascinating, I would love to read more about the place.
What are the camping facilities like, can a caravan be towed i

You are right – it is their website. I would not like to take my Jurgens there. The shortest gravel road is +- 45 km from the Griekwastad – Groblershoop road. The staff assured me that that road is in a good condition but you will never know.

I did a review at on another website which read as follows:

    Quote:
A nice resort to spend a few days. I would not recommend someone with a “road” caravan to try and visit the resort. The general feeling we had was that maintenance were not fully up to standard, This did not stop us from enjoying the visit.

I like those far away places with a few as possible people.

This map is from their website. The road from Kathu – Olfifantshoek did not look promising. We took the road from Posmasburg – the “short cut” not highlighted on the map and that I would not even try with a sedan car!

Hein2 – you can always stay in their chalets – these are very good, or at least were when we were there some time ago…..
