Bakkie owners can join in their numbers at Sondela Nature Reserve and Spa near Bela Bela during the weekend of 1 to 3 November.
The idea arose after the very successful hosting over the years of the Hankook Land Cruiser Festival and the numerous requests from bakkie owners who could not participate in the Cruiser Festival.
LA Sport Pretoria is excited to introduce the LA Sport Action Arena, an exhilarating playground specifically designed for bakkie enthusiasts. Here, owners can unleash their vehicles and push them to the limit, fully immersing themselves in a range of thrilling challenges. The venue features a dedicated gravel drag strip for head-to-head racing and a series of demanding hill climbs that test both skill and power.
Additionally, participants can tackle cross-axle obstacles and navigate through mud bogs, all while enjoying a vibrant atmosphere of competition and camaraderie. Whether you’re a seasoned driver or just looking to have some fun, the LA Sport Action Arena offers a unique experience for all bakkie lovers.
Andre de Villiers from Andre 4×4 will also be present, and those interested can ride along on his purpose-built obstacle course.
Ford will also present their own obstacle course, and Sondela offers 4×4 routes through the bushveld. To top it all off, there will be various outdoor product exhibitors and an arts and crafts market for the ladies – opening on Friday, 1 November, at 14:00.
As usual, Sondela offers all the resort entertainment, keeping the kids busy, and there will be excellent festival food available.

Entry fees are only R250 per vehicle, which includes a maximum of 4 people per vehicle, and bush camping costs R850 per vehicle with a maximum of 4 people – only registered vehicles can make use of this option, which also includes the R250 registration fee.
