Hi there. I heard there is a company importing Toyota Lexus engines and gear boxes from Japan and using them for modifying older 4×4’s. Is this true, and can anyone comment on the company doing this and the approx. cost involved?

I also heard about this. I wouldn’t mind dropping a V8 into an old landy – with it’s aluminium body (that won’t rust) it should last a lifetime!

There are lots of companies importing Lexus engines, but the guys who do the conversion / adaptor plates are called Chris Mod.
