For the past few years, Trio Events has been thrilling the off-road community with the immensely successful Hankook Land Cruiser Festival. And now, it’s the Hilux owner’s turn! They have asked and requested, and the festival organisers have answered with an event designed just for them. Sondela Nature Reserve & Spa provides the perfect place for their very first and own Hilux Festival.

They are on a mission to create history by assembling as many Hilux vehicles as possible in one place. This gathering is not just about the present – It’s about shaping the future. The Hankook Hilux Festival is poised to become an annual tradition that will keep them coming back for more.
A festival of epic proportions
Prepare to be swept away by a whirlwind of activities that cater to every member of the family. The Hilux festival promises an array of entertainment, including outdoor exhibitors, live performing artists, Sondela resort activities, kids’ entertainment, bars, beer gardens, a variety of food vendors, and an arts and crafts market.
La Sport Pretoria: the ultimate off-road playground
For the real-deal thrill-seekers, LA Sport Pretoria is set to dazzle with its purpose-built track. Challenge your Hilux with heart-pounding events like Hilux Gravel Drag Challenges, Mud Bog Challenges, Hill Climbs, and Cross Axle Challenges. Hilux owners will compete head-to-head, so bring your trusty companion along, and discover the incredible feats it can accomplish!
Registration Details:
- Vehicle registration: Only R250 per vehicle (up to 4 persons).
- Basic camping for attendees (with ablutions, but without power): R850 per vehicle (up to 4 persons) for the entire weekend (including the vehicle registration fee).
- Day Visitors (Non-Hilux Owners): Join the fun as spectators for just R60 per person.
Latecomers are welcome to register on-site, but they strongly encourage online registrations for a seamless experience. They are eagerly anticipating your arrival at this remarkable event, where the Hilux spirit reigns supreme. See you at the Hankook Hilux Festival!
