It enables the fitment of a range of additional accessories – from gas bottle holders, to recovery track brackets and the ever-popular bottle opener. As ever, the rack features a fully welded construction and longitudinal load slats with a carrying capacity of 250kg.

Roof top tent owners will welcome the arrival of the game drive cover from Howling Moon, designed to slip easily over a closed tent when going on a quick morning or evening game drive. It is light, held in place with bungee cord, and will keep out dust and mild rain. Made from 210D PVC-coated Oxford nylon with reinforcing patches, it’s not designed to replace the heavy-duty standard PVC cover, but is a convenient stop-gap for campers who like to stay mobile. The game drive cover comes in various sizes to fit the Howling Moon RTT range, and is available at all Campworld outlets.

While everyone aspires to have the best-known winch brand on the block, sometimes you have to cut back on cost, hopefully without short-changing on quality – which is where the RTS winch enters the picture. Sold under the Titan brand in the US and as the Tiger in Australia, this 13 000lb (5890kg) single line pull unit is available in a new and improved version with a solid feature set. This includes a 5.2kW (7.2HP) series wound motor, 218:1 gear ratio for a torquey, fast pull, larger brake area for more secure holding power, a wired and wireless remote, IP67 rating on the motor, a gearbox and solenoid good enough to withstand immersion for 30m in water 1 metre deep, and a quality synthetic (polyethylene) 10mmx 26m rope. The mounting bolt pattern is standard and the dimensions a compact 508x156x190mm. It carries a twoyear warranty and delivery is available countrywide.
