The event will be hosted at the Elgin Grabouw Sports Club and Venue, heralding the official arrival of summer along the beloved N2 Garden Route. For three days, from Friday at 12:00 to Sunday at 15:00, the doors will swing open for day visitors.
Whether you’re a seasoned overland veteran, weathered by past exploits, or a wide-eyed newcomer embarking on your epic journey into the untamed wilderness, this expo welcomes all with open arms. Positioned between two renowned landmarks, the Grabouw 4×4 trail and the Eikenhof Dam, you’ll find the perfect spots to cool off after all the exhilaration. Nestled alongside the Palmiet River within the bountiful Elgin valley, Grabouw is encircled by the majestic Hottentots Holland and Groenland mountains to the north, with the Kogelberg Biosphere Reserve gracing its southern horizon.
A multitude of pathways originating from the town serves as gateways to explore the encompassing mountainous landscapes. This new event aims to bring the finest offerings of the outdoor industry to the dedicated camping and overland community just beyond Cape Town’s borders.

Also, many local cheese and wine producers will be present, featuring a wide selection of wines that are locally harvested from the bountiful vineyards of Elgin and the scenic Grabouw Valley.
In a departure from other local industry trade shows and exhibitions, this event promises to be an exhilarating experience tailored to holidaymakers, overland enthusiasts, off-road caravan lovers and camping devotees, as you’re about to discover.
Saturday’s schedule includes entertaining activities like ‘The Land Rover Games,’ where you can test your mettle at ‘Crank-Starting the Series Land Rover,’ and family-friendly ‘Roll-a-Tyre’ games. For the more adventurous that border on a fanatic curve, there are 4×4 self-drive mountain routes to conquer.
Day visitors are welcome on Fridays (12:00-18:00), Saturdays (08:00-18:00), and Sundays (08:00-15:00). This event is open to all vehicles and showcases Land Rover rebuilds, caravans, tents, 4×4 outfitters, outdoor gear, trailers, boats, watersports, BBQ equipment, and more. You can also enjoy live entertainment, beer and craft gin gardens, wine and cheese tasting, a cigar and whiskey lounge, and various vendors. Plus, there’s a dedicated kids’ entertainment area for families thoughtfully provided by the organisers.
